Tragic Drownings in Maharashtra: Youth and Family Members Found Dead

In Kolhapur, Maharashtra, the body of Paratik Patil, one of two youths from Karnataka’s Nipani town who drowned in the Dudhganga river basin at Kalammawadi dam, has been recovered. The search continues for the second youth.

Meanwhile, in Pune, one of two missing children from a family of five who drowned near Bhushi Dam in Lonavala has been found dead. The deceased include Shahista Ansari, Amima Ansari, and Umera Ansari. One child remains missing.
