Tragic Drowning of Young Boy Vikas in Nangloi’s Ganda Nala

A tragic incident occurred in Nangloi, New Delhi, where a young boy named Vikas, aged 13-14, drowned in Ganda Nala. The incident happened around 3:45 PM when Vikas, a 6th-grade student, slipped into the drain while walking along it.

Despite rescue attempts by a local woman named Anju and others using a wooden stick, Vikas could not be saved. Fire brigade personnel later recovered his body. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination and are proceeding with legal formalities.
