Two Truck Drivers Die in Amethi
On Wednesday morning, a terrible accident happened near the Mamta Steel factory on the Tanda Banda National Highway in Amethi. Two speeding trucks collided, resulting in the deaths of both drivers. One driver’s body is still trapped in the truck. A co-driver was seriously injured and is receiving treatment at the Bhetua CHC.
Elderly Couple Killed in Kanpur
On September 21, an elderly couple was killed in a hit-and-run outside the Anandeshwar Shiv Temple in Kanpur. The incident occurred around 5 AM when a car struck the couple, who were sleeping near the temple. The driver fled the scene. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the driver. Mahesh Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, confirmed the details, and Nirbhay Shrivastava, a local security personnel, explained that the couple was around 85 or 86 years old.
