10 Labourers Killed in Truck and Tractor Collision

In a tragic accident near the Kachhwa border in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, ten labourers lost their lives and three others were injured when a truck collided with a tractor. The incident occurred on GT Road when a truck, which had lost control, hit a tractor carrying 13 people from Bhadohi district to Banaras.

The police, led by Mirzapur Superintendent of Police Abhinandan, quickly arrived at the scene and sent the injured to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) hospital for treatment. The labourers were returning to their village after work. An FIR has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.

Official Statement

Superintendent of Police Abhinandan stated, “At around 1 AM, we received information about the accident. We reached the spot and started rescue work. Out of the 13 people, 10 died, and 3 were injured and sent to BHU for treatment. All were labourers returning to their village. An FIR is being registered, and further legal action is being taken.”
