A devastating accident occurred in Rajasthan’s Dholpur district, resulting in the loss of 12 lives. The incident took place on Saturday night when a sleeper bus collided with a tempo, a three-wheeled auto-rickshaw, near Sunipur. The collision claimed the lives of three adult women, the tempo driver, and several children.

Shiv Lahari Meena, the Incharge of Bari Kotwali Police Station, reported that the accident happened around 11 pm as the bus was traveling from Dhaulpur to Jaipur. The tragic event has left the community in mourning.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed his sorrow over the incident and instructed the administration to provide proper medical care to the injured. He stated, “The news of lives lost in the tragic road accident in Dholpur is extremely distressing. I pray to Lord Shri Ram for peace for the departed souls and a speedy recovery for the injured.”
Former Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot also shared his condolences, saying, “The loss of 12 lives in the road accident in Dholpur is deeply saddening. I pray to God for peace for the departed souls and a quick recovery for those injured.”
