In a tragic accident in Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh, four people lost their lives and three others were injured when a speeding bus collided with an autorickshaw. The incident occurred on the night of October 21 on the Kadapa-Chittoor highway at Kalakada.

Details of the Incident

According to Circle Inspector Gurunadh and Sub Inspector Ramanjaneyulu, the passengers in the bus were returning to Hyderabad from Pileru after attending a relative’s final rites. The accident prompted locals and police to rush to the scene for a rescue operation.

The police have registered a case and an investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the accident.
