Traffic Advisory for Navratra Festival
Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police Guidelines
The Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory to ensure a smooth experience for devotees visiting Kali Mata Mandir Bagh-e-Bahu and Kandoli Mata Nagrota during the Navratra festival from October 3 to 12.
Traffic Management
During the Navratra period, one-way vehicular traffic will be implemented towards the Bagh-e-Bahu Temple to keep the Bahu Fort Route clear. Vehicles will be diverted from P/S Bagh-e-Bahu Crossing towards Qasim Nagar, then to Bye Pass Road NHW and Forest Check, and finally towards Kali Mata Mandir.
Parking Regulations
No heavy vehicles will be allowed from Bye-Pass Naka NHW (Sidhra road) towards Bagh-e-Bahu/Bahu-fort area. Devotees must park in designated slots such as Bagh-e-Bahu, New JDA Parking, and others. Wrongly parked vehicles will face action under the MV Act.
Cooperation Request
The public and motorists are urged to cooperate with the Traffic Police and avoid the specified routes during the festival. Devotees visiting Kandoli Mata Nagrota should park near the temple and not on the road.
