Mahua Moitra and Mamata Banerjee Celebrate Victory

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee celebrated their party’s victory in the West Bengal by-elections. TMC won all four assembly seats, reclaiming three from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and retaining one.

Moitra highlighted the weakening influence of the BJP and its agencies, stating that people are saying, ‘Tumse na ho payega’ to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She noted that the INDIA bloc parties won 10 out of 13 seats in the by-elections held across seven states.

Banerjee expressed gratitude to voters and dedicated the victory to the people. She explained that the TMC won back three seats previously held by the BJP and retained one seat. She thanked the people for their support despite conspiracies and challenges from the BJP and other agencies.

Banerjee also mentioned specific candidates and their victories. Krishna Kalyani won in Raiganj, Mukut Mani won in Ranaghat, and Madhuparna Thakur, the youngest candidate, won in Bagdah.
