TMC MP Mahua Moitra Challenges Delhi Police After Remarks Against NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma

TMC MP Mahua Moitra has challenged the Delhi Police to act on legal orders after the National Commission for Women (NCW) initiated action against her for derogatory remarks against NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma. Moitra’s comments were made in response to a video showing Sharma at a stampede site in Hathras.

The NCW condemned Moitra’s remarks as a violation of dignity and has filed a formal complaint with the Delhi Police and the Lok Sabha Speaker, urging strict legal action.
