TMC Leader Shantanu Sen Speaks Out About Removal and RG Kar Medical College Incident
Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Shantanu Sen recently addressed his unexpected removal from the position of the party’s spokesperson. He emphasized that he has always been loyal to the party and has never spoken against it or any of its leaders. Sen expressed his disappointment over the treatment of dedicated party members compared to those who defect from other parties.
Sen also discussed the tragic death of a post-graduate trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9. The victim’s family has alleged rape and murder, and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently investigating the case. The opposition BJP has accused the ruling TMC of a cover-up. Sen highlighted previous complaints against the college principal and urged the state government to consider these issues seriously.
Sen reiterated that the Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, has called for a fast-track court investigation and capital punishment for the culprits. He expressed hope that the CBI would find all the culprits soon.
