TMC Leader Kunal Ghosh Criticizes BJP for Politicizing Trainee Doctor’s Tragic Death

On August 19, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Kunal Ghosh criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for politicizing the rape and murder of a trainee doctor. He stated that while the pain expressed on social media is valid, turning it into political slogans is unacceptable. Ghosh emphasized the importance of using appropriate language and warned against spreading fake news.

The tragic incident has sparked widespread outrage and protests across India. Demonstrations have taken place in cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, and Kolkata, demanding justice for the victim and punishment for the accused. In Kolkata, junior doctors and students have been protesting at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, where the trainee doctor was found dead on August 9.
