Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], July 17: TMC leader Kunal Ghosh criticized BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari for his remarks on dissolving the Minority Morcha, calling it undemocratic. Ghosh stated, “They (BJP) are saying that there should not be a minority front; it is against democracy. Here there is a Hindu majority and then there are minorities, Muslims, and Christians, and all democratic parties have a minority cell.”

Earlier, Adhikari had urged his party to dissolve its Minority Morcha, saying, “We are with those who support us. Stop this ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. There is no need for Minority Morcha.”

Adhikari later clarified, “My statement is being taken out of context. I am clear that those who are nationalists stand for this nation and Bengal, and we should be with them. Those who don’t stand with us, work against the interests of the nation and Bengal, we need to expose them.”

He emphasized unity and development for all, embodying Prime Minister’s call for ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas’. Adhikari also urged his supporters to continue fighting to save Hindus and the Constitution.
