Tibetan Government-in-Exile Welcomes Arunachal Pradesh Leaders Led by CM Pema Khandu
Event in Dharamshala
The Tibetan government-in-exile held a special event to welcome leaders from Arunachal Pradesh in Dharamshala on Saturday. The leaders, including Chief Minister Pema Khandu, participated in long-life prayers for the Dalai Lama at the main Tibetan temple, Tsuglagkhang.
Welcome Ceremony
After the prayers, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) hosted a welcome event for the delegation from Arunachal Pradesh. The delegation included Tapir Gao, MP and co-convener of the All Party Indian Parliamentary Forum for Tibet; Pasang Dorjee Sona, Minister for Education and Tourism; and Zingnu Namchoom, MLA Namsai.
Gratitude and Praise
CTA President Pempa Tsering expressed his gratitude towards the leaders and people of Arunachal Pradesh for organizing the long-life prayer. Chief Minister Khandu shared his experience of meeting the Dalai Lama and praised the CTA for their efforts towards the Tibetan cause. He also highlighted the special bond between the people of Tibet and Arunachal Pradesh.
