Three Railway Employees Arrested for Train Derailment Plot in Gujarat

Three railway employees have been arrested for allegedly conspiring to derail a train near Kim railway station in Gujarat by removing fishplates and keys from the track. The attempted derailment was thwarted on Saturday, and service was quickly restored.

According to Western Railway, Vadodara Division, unidentified individuals had tampered with the UP line track near Kim railway station. Fortunately, the issue was resolved promptly.

Separate Incident on Bathinda-Delhi Railway Track

In another incident, nine iron rods were discovered on the Bathinda-Delhi railway track. Government Railway Police (GRP) officials reported that a train had to be stopped early Sunday morning after the rods were spotted. The rods were recovered around 3 am.

Investigating Officer Shavinder Kumar stated that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) initially investigated the matter and recovered the rods. The case was then handed over to the GRP, and an FIR was registered against unknown persons. Further investigations are ongoing.
