Thousands Gather for Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Exam 2024 in Kanpur and Moradabad
Thousands of candidates arrived at exam centers in Uttar Pradesh for the Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024, held across multiple dates in August. The exam, conducted in two shifts daily, aims to fill over 60,000 vacancies.
Extensive security measures, including help desks and deployments from various forces, have been put in place to ensure smooth conduct. Joint Commissioner (Law & Order) Amit Verma stated, “Teams would be deployed at the exam centres. Not just security, arrangements have been made to facilitate the students.”
Government Railway Police (GRP) SP Prashant Verma added, “A lot of candidates will come from other districts. A help desk has been made so that the students don’t face any problems and they can be informed about the facilities being provided by the administration.”
The re-examination was ordered by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath after a paper leak in February.
