Terrorists Attack Village in Rajouri, Brave Soldiers Fight Back

In the early hours of Monday, terrorists attacked a Village Development Committee (VDC) house in Gunda village, Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. The White Knight Corps reported that an Army column nearby reacted quickly, leading to a firefight. Operations are still ongoing in the area.

Recently, there has been a rise in terror attacks in the Jammu region, including an attack on an army convoy in Kathua and encounters in Doda and Udhampur. On Thursday, Indian Army troops fired at suspicious movement near the Line of Control in Sunderbani, Rajouri.

In another incident, two Indian Army soldiers were injured in an encounter with terrorists in Kastigarh, Doda. This encounter followed the deaths of four soldiers, including Captain Brijesh Thapa, during a firefight in Doda on July 15. Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, Northern Army Commander, paid tribute to the fallen soldiers.
