Telangana Police Arrests Boinipally Suresh with 31.2 kg of Ganja in Rangareddy
The Telangana Police have arrested Boinipally Suresh, an interstate drug peddler, in Rangareddy, Telangana. Suresh, a 35-year-old cab driver from Paidurupadu, Vijayawada Rural in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, was caught with 31.2 kg of ganja.
According to the police, Suresh had previously been involved in a similar case. He reconnected with an old acquaintance from Khammam who suggested he transport ganja for quick financial gain. Suresh received a car loaded with the ganja, which he concealed in a specially crafted gas tank to avoid detection.
On the morning of June 30, 2024, following a tip-off, the SOT LB Nagar team, along with Nagole police, intercepted the car within Nagole police station limits. They seized the ganja, the vehicle, and a mobile phone, and apprehended Suresh. Efforts are ongoing to catch other involved individuals. Suresh is now being produced before the court for judicial remand.
