Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Plans New Trust Board for Yadagirigutta Temple
On November 8, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced the formation of a Trust Board for the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam. This board will be modeled after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Governing Council. During a meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed temple development activities and made several suggestions.
He instructed officials to elevate the Yadagirigutta Temple Board to a status similar to the Tirumala Board after a thorough study. A special policy for cow protection in the Goshala was also directed, along with the adoption of technological innovations for cow welfare. Facilities for devotees to stay on the hill and the completion of the gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram before the Brahmotsavam festival were also prioritized.
Additionally, the Chief Minister urged the allocation of necessary funds for the temple and the completion of any pending land acquisition. Officials were asked to compile comprehensive details and proposals within a week and submit a detailed report on pending tasks. The official renaming of Yadadri to Yadagirigutta in all records was also ordered.
On the occasion of his 55th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who expressed his gratitude for the wishes.
