Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Criticizes BJP and PM Modi
As the Maharashtra Assembly election campaign concludes, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He accused them of accepting defeat by withdrawing PM Modi from the state. Reddy stated, “PM Modi has left the country, indicating BJP’s acceptance of defeat.”
Reddy also accused the BJP of trying to divide the nation for electoral gains, saying, “BJP’s advertisements are attempting to divide the country to win elections.” He criticized PM Modi for having nothing to show for his three terms in office.
BJP’s Advertisement Campaign
With the elections approaching, the BJP launched an ad campaign targeting the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). The campaign urged voters to “Say No to Congress” and highlighted tragic incidents like the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and the 2003 Mumbai serial blasts. It also mentioned alleged corruption and financial mismanagement by the Congress.
Congress’s Response
All India Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewala criticized the BJP, calling it the “Bhagoda Jutao” company. He highlighted issues like Mumbai being “mortgaged” to Adani, rising crime rates, and inflation under the current government. Surjewala urged voters to consider these issues before voting.
