Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy Lays Foundation for Young India School

On Friday, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the Young India Integrated Residential School in Kondurg village, Rangareddy district. During the event, CM Reddy expressed hopes that the new schools will offer a brighter future for students in Telangana. He emphasized the government’s commitment to providing quality education and healthcare to the underprivileged and addressing unemployment issues.

CM Reddy criticized the previous BRS government for neglecting children’s education, stating that 5,000 government schools were closed. He assured that his government is dedicated to offering high-standard education to the poor and is reforming the education system. The process of teacher promotions and transfers has been completed to boost confidence in the government.

He accused former Chief Minister KCR of not investing enough in school infrastructure, despite a large budget and borrowing. CM Reddy claimed that the previous government spent Rs 22 lakh crores and borrowed Rs 7 lakh crores but failed to allocate at least Rs 10,000 crore for improving government school infrastructure. He stated that the closure of 5,000 schools was a conspiracy to deny education to the poor. The establishment of Young India Integrated Residential Schools aims to provide educational facilities to the underprivileged.
