Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Vows to Oust BRS and BJP
Khammam, Telangana – On August 16, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a strong statement against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) during a public meeting in Khammam. He declared it his responsibility to ‘destroy and bury BRS’ and remove the party from Telangana.
Reddy criticized the BJP for not providing any benefits to Telangana despite winning eight seats in the general elections. He emphasized the need for projects like the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation project, the Nalgonda SLBC tunnel, and the Khammam Seetharama Sagar project to be completed for the state’s development.
Reddy also accused BRS of failing in both Assembly and Parliament elections, stating that the party is now in a dire situation. He questioned BRS leaders, including KTR, about their performance and promises.
Highlighting his government’s achievements, Reddy mentioned the loan waiver of up to Rs 2 lakh for farmers, fulfilling Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s promises. He challenged BRS leader Harish Rao to resign as MLA, as Rao had promised to do so if the loan waiver was implemented.
