Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Others Mourn the Passing of Dharmapuri Srinivas

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday expressed his condolences on the death of Dharmapuri Srinivas, a senior Congress leader and former minister. Srinivas, who was 76, passed away due to a heart attack. He had been ill for some time.

The Chief Minister praised Srinivas for his long service to the Congress party and his role in the Telangana movement. He called Srinivas a role model for many political leaders and prayed for his soul to rest in peace. The CM also conveyed his deepest sympathies to Srinivas’s family.

Other leaders, including Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, former MP V Hanumanth Rao, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Minister Dansari Anasuya Seethakka, also paid their respects and offered condolences. They remembered Srinivas’s contributions as a minister, MP, and PCC president.

Srinivas is survived by his two sons, Dharmapuri Arvind, an MP, and Sanjay, a former mayor of Nizamabad.
