The Telangana Drugs Control Administration, along with the Prohibition and Excise Department, conducted a significant raid in Hyderabad. This operation targeted private hospitals involved in the illegal stocking and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

Hospitals Involved

The raid took place at Bakoban Hospital in Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, and BVK Reddy Hospital in Warasiguda, Secunderabad. These hospitals were found to be illegally stocking substances without the necessary NDPS license.

Seized Substances

During the operation, authorities seized large quantities of narcotic drugs, including Fentanyl injections, Ketamine injections, and Midazolam injections.

Arrests and Legal Action

Abdul Rahman, the owner of Bakoban Hospital, and T Naresh Kumar from BVK Reddy Hospital were arrested. Cases have been registered under the NDPS Act at Charminar and Musheerabad Prohibition & Excise Stations. Further investigations are ongoing, and legal actions will be taken against all offenders.
