On Sunday, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Tejasvi Surya became the first public representative to complete the Ironman 70.3 Challenge in Goa. This event included 2 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, and 21 km of running. Surya completed the challenge in 8 hours, 27 minutes, and 32 seconds, showcasing his dedication and inspiring many.

The fourth edition of Ironman 70.3 Goa was flagged off by Race Ambassador and tennis legend Leander Paes, along with other notable figures. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Surya’s achievement, expressing hope that it would inspire more young people to engage in fitness activities.

Surya shared his joy in completing the challenge, attributing his success to rigorous training over the past four months. He credited the Fit India initiative, launched by PM Modi, as his motivation. Surya dedicated his achievement to Indian athletes and encouraged young people to pursue fitness and sports for a healthier lifestyle.
