Tejashwi Yadav Celebrates 28 Years of RJD, Criticizes BJP

On July 5, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav celebrated the party’s 28th foundation day. He proudly stated that RJD is the only party that has neither compromised nor kneeled before the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Yadav emphasized that RJD’s fight is for the weak and deprived.

Yadav criticized Janata Dal (U) for compromising their ideology for power by allying with BJP. He highlighted that RJD’s vote share increased by 9% in the recent Lok Sabha elections, while the NDA’s vote share decreased by 6%. RJD won 4 seats, and their alliance won a total of 9 seats.

Tejashwi Yadav also accused BJP of being against reservations. He praised the Mahagathbandhan government for raising the reservation quota to 75%, a move halted by the NDA-BJP government in Bihar. Yadav asserted that BJP is not just against Bihar but also against reservations.

The RJD was founded on July 5, 1997, and has been fighting for the rights of the weak and deprived ever since.
