Journey Back Home
The team, support staff, and media were delayed in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. They flew back on a chartered Air India plane organized by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, landing in Delhi early Thursday morning.

India ended a 13-year ICC trophy drought with this win. Virat Kohli scored 76 runs, helping India reach 176/7. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling restricted South Africa to 169/8. Bumrah, with 15 wickets and an economy rate of 4.17, was named ‘Player of the Tournament’.
