Team India Arrives in Zimbabwe for Exciting T20I Series

Harare, Zimbabwe – Zimbabwe Cricket welcomed the T20 World Cup Champions, India, as they arrived at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport for a five-match T20I series starting on Saturday.

Match Schedule

The first match of the series will be played on July 6 at the Harare Sports Club, with the final match scheduled for July 14 at the same venue.

Team India

India’s squad is led by Shubman Gill and coached by former cricketer VVS Laxman. The team includes Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson from the main T20 World Cup squad, while other key players have been rested. Promising young players like Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed have been added to the squad.

Zimbabwe Squad

Zimbabwe, under new head coach Justin Sammons, has named a young squad with an average age of 27. Sikandar Raza will lead the team, which includes experienced players like Luke Jongwe and promising talents like Antum Naqvi, whose inclusion is subject to citizenship confirmation.
