Team India Arrives in Barbados for T20 World Cup Final Against South Africa
Bridgetown, Barbados, June 29: The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, has arrived in Barbados for the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against South Africa. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video on social media showing star batter Virat Kohli and head coach Rahul Dravid stepping off the team bus in the Caribbean country.
BCCI wrote on their social media handle, ‘The big day is here! #TeamIndia have arrived in Barbados for the summit clash.’
The final match will be held at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday. Team India aims to win their first ICC trophy since the 2013 Champions Trophy and their first T20 World Cup since the inaugural edition in 2007. Both India and South Africa have remained unbeaten in the 2024 T20 World Cup, showcasing impressive performances throughout the tournament.
India has dominated their opponents, including strong teams like Australia, Pakistan, and England. In contrast, South Africa has had close encounters, narrowly winning against teams like Bangladesh, Nepal, and the West Indies.
