A teacher named Shiv Vishal Namdeo was arrested in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, for molesting girl students. The incidents occurred between August 20 and August 23 when the regular teacher, Shakuntala Singh, was away for training.

According to a complaint, a student reported that Namdeo touched her inappropriately from the first day he started teaching. The issue was brought to the attention of Shakuntala Singh, who then inquired with other students. Around seven to eight girls reported similar incidents, and one mentioned that Namdeo showed them obscene videos.

Shakuntala Singh took the students to Ramnagar police station to lodge an FIR. Anuppur Superintendent of Police, Moti-ur-Rehman, stated that a case was registered against Namdeo under the Bharatiya Nyay Sahita (BNS) and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) act. Namdeo was arrested, and his mobile phone was confiscated for further investigation.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
