Teacher Arrested for Harassing Young Girl in Bhopal
A school teacher in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a three-and-a-half-year-old girl. The incident was reported by the girl’s family to the Kamla Nagar police station.
Police Action
Bhopal Commissioner of Police, Harinarayanchari Mishra, stated that the police registered a case under section 74 and 75 of Bharatiya Nyay Sahita (BNS) and the POCSO act. The accused, identified as Kasim Rehan, was arrested promptly after the complaint was received.

The school where the incident occurred claimed they were unaware of the harassment and had not been informed by the parents.
