Tanvir Sadiq Hopes for New Dawn as S Jaishankar Visits Pakistan for SCO Meeting

On October 6, Tanvir Sadiq, the Chief Spokesperson and Communication Incharge of the National Conference, expressed optimism about External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s upcoming visit to Pakistan. Jaishankar will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting in Islamabad on October 15-16. Sadiq believes this visit could mark the beginning of improved relations between India and Pakistan, which have been tense for years.

Sadiq highlighted the significance of this visit, noting that it is the first time in nine years that an Indian External Affairs Minister will visit Pakistan. He expressed hope that the meeting would address various issues between the two countries and lead to a sense of normalcy, especially for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
