Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin Condemns Killing of BSP Leader Armstrong
Tamil Nadu Minister and DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin has condemned the killing of the state’s Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief, K Armstrong. Armstrong was attacked and killed by unidentified men near his home in Perambur, Chennai, on July 5.
Udhayanidhi Stalin expressed his shock and sadness over the incident, stating that Armstrong’s death is a significant loss for the political platform for the oppressed. He assured that Chief Minister MK Stalin has ordered officials to bring the culprits to justice. The police have already arrested the suspects involved in the crime.
Chief Minister MK Stalin also expressed his grief, calling the incident deeply saddening. He emphasized that the police have been instructed to expedite the investigation and ensure the culprits are punished according to the law.
BSP supremo Mayawati announced her plans to visit Chennai to pay tribute to Armstrong and meet his grieving family. She called for immediate action from the Tamil Nadu government to prevent such incidents in the future.
The Chennai police have arrested eight suspects and formed a special team to investigate the murder.
