On October 20, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal raised concerns about the lifestyle of the party’s national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal. She questioned how Kejriwal could live in a luxurious house while 40% of Delhi’s population resides in slums. Maliwal highlighted the extravagant features of Kejriwal’s residence, including remote-controlled curtains worth Rs5.6 crore and other costly amenities.

Earlier, on October 8, Maliwal criticized AAP’s performance in the Haryana assembly polls, accusing Kejriwal of targeting Congress for revenge. She claimed that AAP’s actions were splitting the Congress vote and betraying the INDIA bloc. Maliwal urged the party to abandon its ego and focus on working for the people.
