Qualification Round

In the qualification round, Kusale finished seventh with a score of 590-38x, while fellow Indian shooter Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar ranked 11th with a score of 589-33x. Only the top eight shooters advanced to the final round, and Tomar did not qualify.

Manu Bhaker also brought glory to India by winning a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event. This was a significant comeback for Bhaker after her pistol malfunctioned at the Tokyo Olympics. She became the first Indian woman in 20 years to reach a shooting final in an individual event since Suma Shirur in 2004.

Additionally, the Indian shooting duo of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event, defeating South Korea’s Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin 16-10.
