Suresh Raina Talks About India’s Preparation for Bangladesh Series and Duleep Trophy
New Delhi, India – Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has emphasized that Bangladesh should not be underestimated due to their strong bowling attack. Raina made these remarks at a Legends League Cricket (LLC) event in Delhi.
Importance of the Bangladesh Series
Raina highlighted that the upcoming series against Bangladesh will serve as a practice match ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. He stated, “You cannot take Bangladesh lightly as they have a fine spin bowling attack and some good players who have done well for a long time. This series will be a fine match practice for the tour to Australia.”

Raina praised Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant for his performance in the ICC T20 World Cup, where Pant was the third-highest run-getter for India. Pant scored 171 runs at an average of 24.42 in eight matches and made 14 dismissals, the most by a wicketkeeper in a single T20 WC edition. His efforts helped India end their 13-year-long ICC World Cup drought.
