Senior Advocate Aryama Sundaram, representing the petitioners, pointed out that Revanth Reddy, who also holds the home portfolio, could influence the investigation. He noted that none of the investigative officers had been examined.

Rohatgi countered that 25 witnesses had already been examined, but Sundaram argued that none were material witnesses. The court was informed about an application by the petitioner accusing Revanth of lowering the court’s dignity through circulated posters and banners.

The Supreme Court warned that the trial might be moved outside Telangana if the Chief Minister did not show respect for the judiciary. The court stressed the importance of mutual respect between institutions.
