Supreme Court to Decide on NEET-UG 2024 Exam Amid Allegations of Paper Leak

The Central government has informed the Supreme Court that scrapping the NEET-UG 2024 exam due to alleged paper leaks would harm many honest candidates. The Ministry of Education emphasized the lack of evidence for a large-scale breach and stated that the CBI is investigating the allegations.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) also opposed the cancellation, noting that issues were limited to specific centers. The Supreme Court will hear the case on July 8, with a high-level committee already working on improving exam transparency.
