Supreme Court Seeks UP Government’s Response on Remo D’Souza’s Cheating Case
The Supreme Court of India has asked the Uttar Pradesh Government to respond to a plea by Remo D’Souza, a well-known choreographer and director, who is seeking to dismiss a cheating case from 2016. A bench consisting of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan has issued a notice to the UP government regarding D’Souza’s plea. The case is scheduled for further hearing next week. D’Souza is challenging an order from the Allahabad High Court that rejected his request to dismiss the cheating case.
