Two video clips of the Karnataka High Court judge surfaced on social media. In one video, the judge made gender-insensitive comments against a woman lawyer. In another, he referred to a Muslim-dominated area in Bengaluru as ‘Pakistan.’

Supreme Court’s Response

The Supreme Court has asked the registrar general of the Karnataka High Court to submit a report after seeking directions from the Chief Justice of the concerned High Court. The court also highlighted that judges need to be mindful of their conduct, especially in the age of social media.

Call for Action
