Supreme Court Grants Bail to Manish Sisodia: A Big Day for Indian Democracy
The Supreme Court has granted bail to Manish Sisodia, a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Delhi Minister, after 17 months in jail. Delhi Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj expressed joy, calling it a milestone for Indian democracy. He criticized the central government for keeping Sisodia in jail without proving any crime.
