Gupta criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly cheating people over the past ten years. He emphasized that the people of Haryana desire 24-hour electricity and water supply, similar to Delhi. Gupta also mentioned that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is preparing for the upcoming assembly elections, aiming to contest all 90 seats. He highlighted the need for employment, reduced drug abuse, and crime in Haryana.
The AAP recently announced it will contest the Haryana assembly elections independently. Haryana, currently governed by a BJP and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) coalition, is one of eight states holding legislative assembly elections this year. The elections are expected to take place on or before October 2024, as the current Assembly’s tenure ends on November 3, 2024.
