Suniel Shetty and Bollywood Stars Launch Exciting Season 2 of Pro Panja League
The Pro Panja League (PPL), India’s very own arm-wrestling league, is back for its second season from October 4 to October 20, 2024. This season will feature 180 arm-wrestlers from all over the country, competing in men’s, women’s, and specially-abled categories across 6 teams.
The league is co-founded by Bollywood actors and producers Parvin Dabas and Preeti Jhangiani, along with Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty as a partner. The first season in 2023 was a huge success, attracting 32 million unique viewers.
Parvin Dabas, co-owner of the league, expressed his excitement for the new season, promising it will be even more electrifying. He emphasized the league’s commitment to showcasing the best talent and bringing Panja as Sports Entertainment to India.
The Kochi KDs, the champion team from the first season, were introduced at a press conference held at the Constitutional Club of India. The event was attended by key figures from the Pro Panja League, including G Praveen Shetty, owner of Kochi KDs, Pradeep Raj, co-owner of Kochi KDs and former para-athlete, Parvin Dabas, and Preeti Jhangiani.
