On November 5, renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik crafted a special sand sculpture to celebrate Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s 36th birthday. The impressive 5-foot-high sculpture was created at Puri Beach in Odisha, using about 4 tons of sand. Students from Pattnaik’s sand art institution assisted in the creation.

Virat Kohli, known for his stellar cricket career spanning over 15 years, has become one of the greatest cricketers of all time. His journey from leading India to an ICC U19 World Cup title in 2008 to becoming a symbol of modern Indian cricket is marked by consistency, dedication, and numerous records.

Since his international debut in 2008, Kohli has played 118 matches for India, scoring 9,040 runs with an average of 47.83, including 29 centuries and 31 fifties. He is the fourth-highest run-getter and century-maker for India in Test cricket.
