Nottingham [UK], July 18: England cricket legend Stuart Broad had the ‘Pavilion End’ at Trent Bridge named after him before the second Test against West Indies. Broad, who played for England from 2006 to 2023, is the seventh-highest wicket-taker in international cricket history. His parents attended the ceremony.

England Cricket shared on X, ‘Special moments at Trent Bridge for @StuartBroad8 Unveiling ‘The Stuart Broad End’ alongside his Mum and Dad.’

In his career, Broad took 847 wickets in 344 international matches, with the best figures of 8/15. He is England’s second-highest wicket-taker behind James Anderson, who retired after the first Test at Lord’s. Broad also scored 4,309 runs, including a century and 13 fifties.

Currently, England leads the three-match Test series after beating the West Indies by an innings and 114 runs in the first match. For the second Test, Mark Wood replaced James Anderson in the playing eleven.
