Market Analysis
Soni Patnaik, AVP, Derivatives Research Analyst at JM Financial Services, stated that Nifty remains in a range of 24,800 to 25,200. A rise in net shorts indicates potential selling pressure at resistance levels. For short covering, Nifty needs to surpass the 25,300 level. If support at 24,800/24,750 breaks, selling could push it towards the 24,500/24,300 range.
Asian Markets
In other Asian markets, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index fell by 1.21%, and Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted index also saw a slight decline. Meanwhile, South Korea’s KOSPI index gained 1%.
