Sri Lanka Women triumphed over India Women by eight wickets in the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 final at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Chasing a target of 166 runs, Sri Lanka’s Harshitha Samawickrama and Chamari Athapaththu led their team to victory.
India Women, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, batted first and scored 165/6 in 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana scored 60 runs, Richa Ghosh added 30 runs, and Jemimah Rodrigues contributed 29 runs.
