In Jaipur, Rajasthan, a female employee of SpiceJet Airlines reportedly slapped a CISF Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) named Giriraj Prasad at Jaipur Airport. The incident occurred after a heated argument between the two.

Allegations of Harassment

Advocate Deepak Chouhan, representing the SpiceJet employee, stated that his client was sexually harassed by the CISF officer, which led to her slapping him. According to Chouhan, abusive words were used against her, causing her to lose her cool.

Details of the Incident

The incident was captured in a viral video. The SpiceJet employee was arrested following a complaint by ASI Prasad, who claimed that the argument started over a security screening. Prasad reported that the crew member tried to enter the airport without a security check and refused to be screened due to the absence of female staff. When Prasad called for female staff, the crew member got angry and slapped him.

SpiceJet’s Response

SpiceJet Airlines supported their employee, stating that the ASI used inappropriate language and asked the female staff to meet him at his home after duty hours. The airline is taking legal action and has approached the local police.
