Special Prayers for CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Birthday at Badrinath-Kedarnath Temples
On the birthday of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, special prayers and a havan were performed by the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) in Badrinath and Kedarnath. The event took place on Shukla Paksha Trayodashi in the Bhadrapada month.
Subordinate temples including Ukhimath Omkareshwar Temple, Joshimath Nrisinha Temple, Kedar Tungnath Temple, and Kalimatha Temple also participated in the havan. Wishes were made for the long life of the Chief Minister and the prosperity of the state.
BKTC President Ajendra Ajay mentioned that a Mahabhishek Puja was performed in Badrinath and Shodashopachar and Rudrabhishek Puja were performed in Kedarnath Dham. Vice President Kishore Pawar and Chief Executive Officer Vijay Prasad Thapliyal also took part in the Puja at Badrinath Dham.
Ajendra Ajay also announced that a special puja will be organized for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday in all the temples, including Badrinath-Kedarnath, to wish for his long life and the well-being of the country.
Meanwhile, CM Dhami offered prayers at the Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple on his birthday, accompanied by his wife, Geeta Dhami. He expressed his hopes for the realization of ‘Naya Uttarakhand’ as envisioned by Prime Minister Modi and urged people to help those affected by natural disasters.
