South Korea and Czech Republic to Boost Economic Cooperation
South Korea and the Czech Republic have agreed to establish a high-level dialogue channel to enhance cooperation on economic and financial issues. This agreement was made during a meeting between South Korea’s Finance Minister Choi Sang-mok and Czech Finance Minister Zbynek Stanjura in Prague.
The dialogue channel will facilitate regular policy talks on macroeconomic, finance, and fiscal issues, with the first meeting expected in early 2025. Additionally, both nations signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) to share information on major infrastructure projects and provide financial support to companies investing in the Czech Republic.
The two ministries also signed an MOU for the Economic Innovation Partnership Programme, pledging to deepen policy cooperation on power systems, green energy, and other relevant fields.
