South Africa Women’s Cricket Team Prepares for T20 World Cup

The South Africa women’s cricket team is ramping up their preparations for this year’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup with two training camps in Tshwane. The team, known as the Proteas, aims to go one step further than their runner-up finish in the 2023 T20 World Cup.

Training Camps in Tshwane

A total of 13 players will participate in the bowling camp from August 5 to 7, while 12 players will join the batting camp from August 6 to 8. Although key players like skipper Laura Wolvaardt, Marizanne Kapp, and Chloe Tryon are missing due to domestic commitments in England, the team has gathered most of its top performers.
